China road transport rate up 1.8 pc in November, says NDRC

STATISTICS posted by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) show the country's road freight transport rate increased 1.8 per cent over October to CNY0.57 per ton per kilometre, Logistics Week reported.

Shanghai's rate rose nearly 7 per cent to CNY0.46 per ton per kilometre. The rate of Xiamen, a city in southeast China, went 4.6 per cent up to CNY0.46 per ton per kilometre. Qingdao's rate increased 2.9 per cent to CNY0.36 per ton per kilometre. Xian's rate soared 40 per cent to CNY0.70 per ton per kilometre.
