ProLogis secures Aramex warehouse contract

2007-11-20

Aramex has contracted ProLogis to design and build it's 798,000 square foot warehousing facility in Dubai Logistics City (DLC).

Construction of the distribution centre has already commenced, with completion scheduled in the second half of 2008. The contract marks ProLogis' entry into the Middle East region.

"We have been investigating business opportunities in this region for over a year and believe that this new transaction within DLC provides an excellent opportunity for ProLogis to begin its Middle Eastern operations," said Jeff Schwartz, chairman and chief executive officer for ProLogis.
