Mr. Ashok Aire: Trium Logistics India Private Limited is a Dubai based NVOCC/ freight forwarding company situated in Mumbai (India) and was established in the year 2008. We have grown enormously over the years and have made our presence very strong in UAE market. 3 years after establishment and considering the financial growth of the company, we decided to expand ourselves to make our service cover the whole India which has great potential. Recently, we opened up our office in Mombasa as well. So we are glad to say that we are strongly growing.
JCtrans: We know Trium Logistics India covers all types of international/local shipments. Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness or your services advantage?
Mr. Ashok Aire: We have been so far successful in providing a complete logistics solution to our wide range of client base over the years by offering those services such as Forwarding - both air & sea, Documentation, Transportation, Multicity Consolidation, Custom Clearance, Inbound & Outbound sea freight consolidation etc.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about the current logistics industry in India? Are there any advantages or problems?
Mr. Ashok Aire: Transportation in India is yet to be organized and generate enough business to attract large number of corporations. Logistics, an integral part of the transportation industry continues to be in a bad state.
The logistics industry is quite unorganized. It is estimated that outsourced logistics form a substantial part of the industry. In this, organized players have just 5% access to this.
So we believe business-friendly policies by the government, including tax incentives and a single Goods and Services Tax (GST) need to be promoted, which would attract investments and ensure smooth facilities for transportation in the logistics industry.
JCtrans: Finally, will you please talk about the prospect of Trium Logistics India Pvt Ltd? Or what's your strategic planning for the next 3 or 5 years?
Mr. Ashok Aire: Further to our office in India, We have a strong sales & operation team who belongs to a console background and holds years of experience in selling and handling inbound as well as outbound consoles. We not only can be an efficient handling agent for your console boxes ex-China to Nhava sheva, we are also in a desperate search of an agent who can support us in building our own console Box ex-China to Nhava sheva with efforts from both ends.
