Recently, we have interviewed with Mr. David, who is the manager of Xiamen Weijia International Freight Forwarders Co.Ltd. He is a person who is open, clear, and responsible. ¡°Nothing is impossible to a willing mind¡± is his word. And he is and will exert himself unceasingly. Weijia International Freight Forwarders Co.Ltd is a Class-A Freight Forwarder approved by Ministry of Commerce, P.R.C in Xiamen. And it is specialized in logistics services such as sea, air and Sea-air combined transport and inland service. They emphasize on ¡°service, network, human-oriented and market-oriented¡± and provide global network service to meet customers¡¯ requests and offer best services to their customers.
Jctrans: Weijia is a new group, and all the staffs here are young, vigorous, and professional, would you please talk about how do you built this group?
David: Indeed, our company is composed of a group of young people, we see our company as an economic organization and also a cultural group. We pay more attention to team work spirit and try our best to develop our staffs¡¯ potentiality. We try our best to transfer our staff¡¯s wisdom to be the motivation. Here I must mention our promise, targets, and concept:

Jctrans: I believe Weijia will make its efforts for its any promise, this is responsibility. Then the competition is so serious, would you please talk about how you enforce your competition?
David: Service is our core-competitiveness. Our responsibility is to offer the portable service we have strong service system and we offer a series of service like booking, space confirmation, document-making, customs declaration and quarantine declaration, container stuffing, inland trucking, etc. At the same time, we have our own customs broker which help customers work out problems promptly and we are sure that customers trust our service. When the modern logistics concepts enter into China, our company provide customers with special and considerate service. As the global economy expanding, we will preferably protect our customers¡¯ interests. We believe that a company who owns good reputation will help customers work efficiently. Our professional staff will offer our customer the exact and timely information, which help them to reduce the cost.
Jctrans: Would you please talk about your feeling about this industry?
David: Would like to share some experiences. I just only go about this area for 5, 6 years around. One thing that gives me a deep impression is in 2007. As all knows, in Xiamen, most of business is stone business. This year, it seems to be a harvest year for shipping company and freight forwarders. More cargos and less shipping space result in the rising of the price. Many freight forwarders do not consider the importance of service while just sell their shipping space and enlarge their shipping line to gain the huge profit. But in 2008, the financial crisis attacked. Most of these companies broke down.
Freight industry is a service industry. What should service industry should pay more attention? I think it should be the quality of service. As a freight forwarder company, we should have the crisis consciousness. We should have the service consciousness and we should have the conception pf win-win with our customers. We always hear sales say it is difficult to sell your products through telephone. Refuse always be received. Then why selling by telephone is difficult? We should think by our service calmly. Low quality freight forwarder must be weed out. Then why we do not to be intimate freight forwarders?
David's word is a word of double meaning. He said the problems of the freight industry and also expresses the hope to the whole freight area. We believe freight forwarders and shipper will obey the ¡°Win-win¡± conception to promote the development of this whole area.
