More and more talents are flowing into logistics area recently in China. Any reasons? As they believe there will be still a long way o go. This week we have made an interview with Niki who will gratuate this year and is planning to develop her career in the logistics industry. Let us walk into her world.
JCtrans: Hi Niki Glade to meet you, would you please tell us why you choose logistics area to develop your career?
Niki: I major in international trade and logistic is very similar with my major. Where trade is, where logistics is. And logistics is an area which has bright development prospects. This industry has been listed in the important support plan in our country. I think in future I will have many chances in this area. In other side, many classmates of mine are all going with trade. So I could find many potential customers and will help them to find a good price.
JCtrans: Then why you choose this company as your developing platform?
Niki: Many friends said when you choose your first job; It is same with choosing a boy friend. The job should be fit for you. And you could develop yourself in this company. I think ARK SHIPPING SERVICES LTD fit for me. First, our boss is a very strong man who has ability and courage and insight. I could study a lot from him. Second, the atmosphere is very comfortable, all colleague seem from one family.
JCtrans: You may have worked in this company for several months, would you please talk about your perception about this area?
Niki: The only perception for me is that in this area competition is very serious, and once you are carelessness, you may be sewed out. And also there are many talents in this area, but there are still short of talents in this area. Why? Because working in this area is very tough. Seldom people could be insisting on except that he gets success.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about your career plan?
Niki: In fact I do not have a long time plan now. Now I walked into this area. So I hope I could be elite. I will do from the ground and will try my best to be an operator now. In the shortest time, I will know about the whole process of transporting cargo. Then I will do everything in my power to be an overseas sale to develop foreign market. I have confidence that I will have many customers by myself.
Niki is one delegate of logistics person. And she has her dream; she has confidence to her future and the whole logistics area. In this area, we need more and more talents who have dream and ability to join.
