This week we have interviewed with Mr. Akbar, the manager of Aaras Shipping.
JCtrans: Oil is the main sources of Pakistan,do all the logistic companies have the right to transport the oil and gas?
Akbar: Yes it is correct. The main sources of Pakistan are oil and coal. Oil and coal are the main export products in our country. But not all logistic companies have the right to transport oil and coal to the foreign countries. Some major companies which are named by government have the right to transport oil to many cities in Afghanistan. But most of the logistic companies could be involved to transport oil and coal to domestic cities.
JCtrans: What about the surroundings of logistic area in your country, if the competition is serious, whether government has some policy to support the logistics area?
Akbar: In fact government does not have special support policies to logistics area. In Pakistan, government now pays more attention to attract more foreign enterprises to invest. The competition is very serious here. So we should keepstronger and stronger to guarantee our market share.
JCtrans: What is your company's core-compositeness to have a stand space in this area in your country?
Akbar: To provide the satisfied service to each client is the key point for our company to have a stand space in the logistic market and also have a big share of the logistics market. And the competitive price is also another main reason for us to be greeted by our customers.
JCtrans: New year is coming would you please talk about your plan for next year?
Akbar: My first priority is to achieve the target for the year of 2010 including our performance measures, professional skill and customers' service and so on. If all goes well. Next I will look forward to extend service circle to those difficult countries where the shipping and logistics movement are less.
