2010-1-25

Huong Nam Logistics was founded in 1998, helped clients fulfill their supply chain efficiently and effectively. With more than 10 years experiences in forwarding and logistics business, they have created a respected brand name in the market. This week we have interviewed with the sales manager Tuyen. Let's access to them.

Firstly would you please talk about your company?

Our core business is currently focused on trade lanes bettween Vietnam and China & Hong Kong, Europe, USA. Moreover, we are operating consolidation cargo weekly among those areas; In addition, there are a lot of air shipments every week. We are not only a normal forwarding company which just only cares about the transportation, selling rate or some other things, I can say that we also act as a professional logistics consultancy who can create added value service or give a good logistics solutions to our customers to satisfy their needs. Finally we also receive a lot of supports from our reliable oversea agents and long-term clients these years.

Do you always come across problems when you cooperated with different countries' customers?

Sometimes we found difficulties to communicate with some clients with different nature. But it has been solved quickly because we have a lot of overseas agents who are able to help us; In addition, we have a lot of staffs who can speak many different languages. Except English and Vietnamese, we have one guy who can speak Dutch because he graduated from a university in Holland and other two staffs can speak Chinese and Korean. And I think it is our strength, seldom companies could do like us.

As I know, In Vietnam, it seems many shipping lines give customers very short free time to pick up the containers. And this may lead many shippers to suffer some losses once some unexpected incident happened. Do you have these experiences? And what is your opinion about this?

That is the truth in Vietnam, but until now we have not met cases like this otherwise we were already bankruptcy. When we get the cargo, we will check the cargo tightly and before the cargo arriving we will notice our customers to pay so that we could pick up the containers in time. So it rarely happened to us.

And in Veitnam, trade barrier seems not as hard as other countries, I think this is a good factor for the development of logistic company what is your opinion on this?

The trade barrier may be not as hard as other countries but the competition here is very hard now. There are thousands of logistics companies in Vietnam. To survive and grow up in this market, our management team has always come up with good solutions for short-term and long-term strategy.

Now with more than 10 years experiences in forwarding and logistics business, we have established good ralationships with many customers in many countries. And we still work harder and harder, I believe tomorrow will be better.
