Background:
The 3rd Chemicals & Oil Transportation and Storage Exhibition 2010 (COTS) had witnessed the ups and downs of Chinese petrochemical industry for three years. It has attracted wider attentions of players in this field with increasing numbers of exhibitors and audience.
The year 2008-2009 was the toughest time for petrochemical logistics industry. The demand for logistics service quickly shrank due to sharp decrease of raw material production and transactions. Meanwhile, logistics industry was experiencing a new round of reshuffle. Chemicals & Oil Transportation and Storage Exhibition (COTS) has been successfully held by CBI China and Shanghai Dangerous Goods on Roadways Trades Society for two rounds in Shanghai. The petroleum logistics industry was affected by the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009. As a leading intelligence provider and conference and events organizer at Chinese chemicals and oil products market, CBI China serves as a platform of information communication between upstream and downstream enterprises along the petroleum logistics supply chain, so as to promote the healthy development of this industry.
