The exhibition is the greatest event of logistics in Middle East. Its success offers an excellent platform for the rapid growth of logistics in Middle East. The fourth exhibition was held in Dubai Trade Center in 2005. It totally attracted 3286 visitors from more than 30 countries such as Arab Gulf States, Iran etc.
Port Jebel Ali and Rashid in Dubai is one of the largest 20 container terminals in the world. Moreover JebelAli is the largest artificial harbor in the world. It owns 100 international shipping lines for service. 60% cargos need transferring. Jebel Ali free zone is the base of over 2000 companies from 90 countries, including some well-known companies like Honda, Naissance and Nokia and so on. Now Dubai airline is extending and reforming. The cargo village cost 2000 million dollars, while 650 million dollars is invested to construct the third air terminal. Retail business increases in the speed of 50%, which promote the development of logistics and supply chain. Construction sector decided to invest 500billion dollars to construction.
