CNY 8.01 billion will be invested in the ports construction in Hebei, a northern province in China. 40.8 million tons' capacity will be added consequently.

CNY 1.83 billion of the total investment will be put into the projects in the Port of Qinhuangdao, CNY 1.06 billion in the Port of Huanghua and CNY 5.12 billion in the Port of Tangshan.

370 million tons' cargo throughput will be realized this year, with 215 million tons in Qinhuangdao port, 68 million tons in Tangshan port and 86 million tons in Huanghua port.

The focus of the investment will lie on the first phase project of Caofeidian coal dock of Tangshan port, a 300,000-ton dock for imported crude oil and a dock for LNG. The coal dock will probably be put into use at the end of this year as expected.

The 30 million-ton coal dock in the Beijing-Tangshan port area of the Port of Tangshan, and the berths for liquid chemical and No. 16 and No. 19 bulk and general cargo will be completed.
