Wall Street opens mixed
POSTED: 0:49 p.m. EDT, February 13,2007

Wall Street opened mixed Monday morning as investors searched for direction without key economic data.

As of 10:00 a.m., the Dow Jones industrial average rose 5.85 to 12,586.68. The Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 1.58 to 1,436.48 and the Nasdaq composite index lost 7.45 to 2,452.37.

Wall Street fell last week on concerns about higher oil prices and the possibility inflation could lead to higher interest rates.

Google was in focus Monday after the Wall Street Journal reported a group of major media companies are accusing the company of benefiting from the sale of pirated movies.
