Taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre between June 17 and 19, 2014 is transport logistic China, of which the Air Cargo China exhibition and conference is an integrated part. For the very first time a Japanese airport will be represented at the show: the International New Kansai Airport, Japan´s second most important air transport hub. Spain, too, is putting on a joint presentation of companies at this international exhibition for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management.
Spain was absent as an exhibitor from the last two events, but this year the Spanish ports association Puertos del Estado is taking a booth. Other countries represented at joint stands are the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia and Russia.
The German national pavilion is being supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Among the companies showcasing their products and services here are the Beumer Group, for intralogistics, and the international freight forwarder, Kerry Logistics (Germany).
At Air Cargo China, as well as the Japanese airport, another highlight is the strong presence of Luxembourg. Cargolux Airlines and Luxair will be there, and so, too, Wallenborn Transports, all of them taking a large booth at the show. Also represented at the Wallenborn booth is a co-exhibitor – the Chinese company Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment, which recently bought a 35-percent share in Cargolux Airlines.
Among the other big-name exhibitors at transport logistic China are Hupac Intermodal of Switzerland, Geodis of France and Tanger Med Port Authority from Morocco.
