Transaero Airlines to offer a record number of routes during Summer 2014

This year Transaero Airlines will offer the broadest summer flight schedule in its history. The summer schedule will include nearly 200 domestic and international routes.
Transaero’s summer flight programme will provide for boosting the airline’s operational and route network efficiency as well as further enhancement of its products and services, including the development of low-cost offer with the new Discount class.
The number of routes operated from Vnukovo International Airport, part of Moscow Air Cluster, will significantly increase in comparison to the summer schedule of 2013. The network will consist of over 50 destinations, 20 more than in the same season last year.
The airline’s route network from Vnukovo airport will include: Anapa, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Novy Urengoy, Norilsk, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Yerevan, Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Kostanay, Shimket, Kiev, Odessa, Tashkent, Vienna, London, Frankfurt, Iraklion, Madrid, Malaga, Rome, Milan, Venice, Paphos, Riga, Lisbon, Madeira, Faro, Istanbul, Antalya, Dalaman, Paris, Dubrovnik, Split, Ibiza, Kerkyra, Larnaca, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, Varadero, Cancun, Beijing, Male, Tel Aviv and Tokyo.
The flight programme from Domodedovo International Airport includes more than 65 routes within Russia and abroad. From this airport Transaero will continue operating low-cost flights with its Discount class. This recently launched product of Transaero Airlines has been gaining popularity among passengers on highly demanded domestic and international routes. In the 2014 summer flight schedule this class will be offered on flights to St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Novy Urengoy, Norilsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Sochi, Stavropol, Tomsk, Ufa, Khanty-Mansiysk, Aktobe, Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Berlin, Rome, Milan, Vilnius and Tel Aviv.
From Sheremetyevo International Airport Transaero will operate Boeing 747-400 aircraft, in a unique 522 seat configuration, to popular tourist destinations. Flights from this airport will be carried out to Antalya, Burgas, Varna, Larnaca, Rhodes, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Enfidha.
Transaero’s summer flight schedule from St. Petersburg will include 24 destinations. For the first time the airline will carry out flights to Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk onboard Boeing 777-200 aircraft. Operation of this type of aircraft will significantly increase available passenger capacity on the aforementioned routes in comparison to the previous year, and therefore will increase availability and comfort on direct flights between St. Petersburg and cities in Russia’s Far East.
For the first time Transaero will launch low-cost flights with Discount Class from St. Petersburg. The services will be offered on the route to Milan.
Transaero will continue to actively participate in the State programme for subsidized air transportation for citizens of Russia’s Far East. The subsidized services under the programme will be available on 13 routes from Moscow and St. Petersburg. For the first time, Transaero will offer flights between Moscow and Norilsk as part of this programme.
Flights to Russia’s Far East will be operated onboard comfortable Boeing 777-300 aircraft with Lumexis IFES, Inflight Connectivity systems providing access to Internet and mobile communication services during flight, as well as onboard Boeing 777-200 and Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
Transaero Airlines will continue to consistently develop its programme of direct flights from Russian regions to popular leisure destinations abroad. This summer the airline’s regional programme will consist of 67 routes setting a new record for the airline. For example, flights to Antalya will be operated from 16 cities, to Larnaca – from 15, to Barcelona – from 13 and to Hurghada – from 11 cities.
Transaero’s unique Imperial class (first class) service will be available on flights to Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Almaty, Astana, London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Paphos, Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Phuket, Male, Mauritius, Seychelles, Beijing, Cancun, Antalya, Dalaman and Malaga. This class will also be offered for the first time on scheduled flights to Antalya, Dalaman and Malaga.
In the coming season the airline will continue to expand its Transaero Connect services providing high speed onboard broadband Internet access and mobile connection on Boeing 777-300, Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 737NG aircraft. During the summer season the airline will install equipment for mobile connection and Internet access on its Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
