Saudi Airlines Cargo will increase bellyhold capacity on new passenger flights between Manchester and Los Angeles from April 1, reports Atlanta area Air Cargo World.
"As our second passenger destination to the UK and our third to the US, these new direct services will provide opportunities to increase our presence in these key markets," said Saudia Cargo vice president Peter Scholten.
The Manchester service will be operated by the airline's B777-200 aircraft and will have a capacity of nine tonnes from Riyadh/Jeddah and 12 tonnes into Riyadh/Jeddah.
The Los Angeles service will be operated thrice weekly by the B777-300 aircraft and will have a capacity of six tonnes from Riyadh/Jeddah and eight tonnes into Riyadh/Jeddah.
