Lufthansa Systems today announced that the French airline Corsair International will use the comprehensive NetLine SP solution for its flight planning, crew management and operations control. NetLine SP from Lufthansa Systems is a complete operational planning and control system designed specifically for the needs of medium-sized airlines. Requiring only minor investments and paying for itself within a short period of time, the IT solution combines the performance of the NetLine suite with professional system operation in the Lufthansa Systems data center. "The system will enable us to achieve the ideal balance between the company's operational requirements and the needs of our flight crews," said Jean-Pierre Bes, Flight Operations Director at Corsair International. For Antoine de Kerviler, Corsair's CIO, "NetLine SP gives us access to the latest technologies available in this area. Our past experience of working with Lufthansa Systems and their vision of the future were important factors in our selection process." NetLine SP - short for NetLine Service Providing - is a clearly structured package consisting of NetLine/Sched, NetLine/Crew and NetLine/Ops. These basic components cover the key aspects of Corsair's operations, including flight planning, crew management and operations control. Corsair will use the NetLine/Crew Fairness xOPT optimization tool for its crew planning. This solution simplifies the crew planning process by generating fast, cost-efficient and fair duty rosters. |
