2012-12-3

During the past three years, Chongqing's international air cargo has been rising by more than 150 per cent a year.
Even in this year, when world's economy has slowed and many cities have experienced shrinkage in their air freight throughput, Chongqing has managed to achieve a year-on-year increase of 160 per cent.
According to Xinhua, there wasn't any international air freighter service in Chongqing three years ago, but now nearly 20. From January to September, seven new international cargo routes were launched in the city. At present, there are eight to 10 Boeing 747 freighters loading or discharging cargo at Chongqing every day.
