Travelling from Oslo Airport continues to climb. In November, 1,788,373 passengers travelled through Oslo Airport, an increase of 3.9% compared with last year. While the number of international passengers increased by 5.1%, domestic traffic grew by 2.8%.
"We're pleased to see the continuing growth of passenger numbers," says Knut Stabæk, marketing manager for traffic development. The number of aircraft movements in November totalled 19,927, up 2.4% from November 2011.
Among the ten largest routes, traffic on the Oslo-Tromsø service grew the most, spiking 18.3% due to Tromsø IL football club's participation in the cup final match at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on 25 November.
