Spain's Iberia said on Thursday May passenger traffic, as measured in terms of revenue passenger kilometres, rose 6 percent compared to a year earlier.
The passenger load factor rose to 79.5 percent compared to 77.5 percent a year earlier.
Iberia said the better traffic figure was thanks to a 3.2 percent increase in capacity and an increase in long-haul traffic.
