Frankfurt Airport operator Fraport said the number of passengers passing through the airport last month rose 2.2 percent to 4.47 million, according to preliminary figures.
Passenger numbers at the company's biggest hub rose 3.2 percent to 16.71 million in the first four months of the year, Fraport said in a presentation published on Thursday.
