Alitalia Cancels Wednesday Meeting With Unions

2008-4-9

Alitalia has cancelled a meeting with unions that had been due to take place on Wednesday, a union source said.

The meeting had been called after Air France-KLM last week broke off negotiations over its planned takeover of the loss-making Italian airline because of union opposition.

The source said on Tuesday that Alitalia planned to reschedule the meeting.
