CATHAY Pacific Airways has added Hanoi in Vietnam Dhaka to its freighter network with a new service from Hong Kong to the two destinations starting from March 11, Logistics Week reported.
The flights on the new Hong Kong-Hanoi-Dhaka run deploy a Boeing 747-200 freighter Tuesdays and Thursdays, the report said.
The Hong Kong-based carrier will continue to expand its freighter network and strengthen existing services in 2008. New destinations are to be added later this year.
With the addition of Hanoi and Dhaka, the cargo network of Cathay Pacific and its sister carrier Dragonair cover 80 destinations, 34 of which are served by freighters.
