FEDAGSA meet to coincide with TIACA November conference in Kuala Lumpur

2008-2-26

FEDAGSA, the Federation of Airline General Sales Agents, is timing its 2008 annual general meeting to allow some 100 GSA executives from 25 countries to participate in TIACA's Air Cargo Forum & Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur November 4 - 6.

TIACA said this follows the decision by the WCA Family of Logistics Networks to schedule its regional meeting in Malaysia in November, a move that will see a further 300 forwarders at the TIACA event.

"This is the first time we have organised an AGM in the Asia region. There is clear synergy between these two events and we see considerable added value for our members in enabling them to also take part in the TIACA conference and exhibition during a single business trip," said FEDAGSA general secretary Glenn Shires.

FEDAGSA puts particular emphasis on air cargo services and sales and seeks to ensure a modern, professional and well-informed network of GSAs is on hand to satisfy airlines' requirements while keeping its members current of developments to better anticipate the future needs of carriers.
