Hong Kong's Asia Airfreight Terminal reported a growth of 14 percent in the first month of 2008 with 51,046 tonnes compared with same period last year.
Export cargo registered 33,105 tonnes, a growth of 11 percent while import cargo volume for January was 17,681 tonnes, an increase of 21 percent. Tanshipment cargo volume was 260 tonnes, up 10 percent.
