American Airlines has raised its fuel surcharge price to US$20 each way.
The move follows a complete rollback of a $25 surcharge increase among major carriers that occurred over the weekend.
It is said that the fundamentals to sustain this increase are still in place and the five other legacy airlines may match this increase shortly.
