DHL Express strengthens operations in Jordan

DHL Express has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Jordan Customs to organise working procedures at the DHL clearing centre in Queen Alia International Airport.

Part of an initiative driven by Jordan Customs to improve and simplify shipping processes, the agreement was signed by HE Metib Al Zaben, general manager of Jordan Customs, and Mazin Saba, operations manager at DHL Jordan. The agreement stipulates the use of a communication network for the exchange of information and electronic data between the two parties.

"The processes of continuous improvement in regard to organisation of work processes and operations at the customs centre, contributes in a very effective manner to developing the shipping, transport and logistics services industry overall," said Mazin Saba, operations manager, DHL Jordan.
