QANTAS has shifted the ownership of its freight and parcel delivery operations into a new holding company, fuelling speculation that it is preparing to sell the business.
The airline last week transferred 50 per cent of its holding in freight operations to Qantas Freight Enterprises.
"We have established Qantas Freight Enterprises Limited as a holding company for our freight interests," the general manager of freight, Grant Fenn, said.
The airline would not confirm if the move was the first step in selling part of the business. |
