Boeing makes progress on 787 Dreamliner production

The Boeing Company has announced that progress is being made in the production of its new 787 Dreamliner, saying the production line is full.

A statement from the company said that work is continuing on the first flight-test airplane and on two aircraft to be used separately for static and fatigue testing.

It said the final structure and systems installations have been completed for the flight-test plane. Landing gear and engines are currently being installed in the static-test airplane and interior installations are also being made, while the fatigue airplane entered final body joined at the end of November.
