ETIHAD Crystal Cargo has appointed Airline Services GSA as its cargo general sales and service agent for Finland.
Finland is currently an offline market for Etihad, so Airline Services GSA will connect to the airline's network via road feeder services to its ex Frankfurt hub and its Hahn hub, which is served thrice-weekly by MD-11 freighters.
In addition. Airline Services GSA will feed cargo into the Etihad system via the hub of its interline partner SN Brussels Airlines.
Airline Services GSA chairman, Jari Aaltonen, said: "This is a very exciting appointment for us. The Etihad network is already very comprehensive, and growing larger all the time."
"As GSA for Etihad, we are now able to offer the Finnish market nine destinations in the Far East, 13 destinations on the Asian subcontinent, 13 destinations in the Middle East, five destinations in Africa, plus Toronto and New York."
