2007-11-2

New routes to Slovakia, Brastislava and Prague have been launched from Luton Airport by SkyEurope Airlines. The central European budget airline has launched double daily flights to Bratislava, a daily service to Prague and three flights a week to Kosice and Poprad in eastern Slovakia.

The airline previously operated the routes from Stansted, but decided to move to Luton at the start of the winter flights period. It expects to carry about 400.000 passengers via Luton Airport over the next 12 months.
